Local to where my sister has moved to - do food most days - and when we have eaten there it has been good food I have to say - pub stuff, but with a bit of change on the specials board - beef stew and dumplings last time I was there !!!
the ice cream is good, with unusual flavours, such as licorice and chocolate - I didn't try it, but someone did and apparently it was very good !
they also have some rooms and do b&b but I cannot vouch for the rooms.
the landlord is very friendly, as are the clientele.
