Looks fabulous on the website, and the idea of it is cool, but The Priory Hotel in Louth (Lincs) is not the best hotel in the world - although the young chap who did reception and bar was very pleasant. Bit Fawlty Towerish from the point of view that he was the only member of staff we ever saw !!!

The worst thing about Louth on a September Monday evening is that there is practically nowhere to eat !!! The hotel only did dinner if you had already requested to eat there - there are a couple of Turkish places in the town, one Indian that we found, couple of takeaways and a Chinese (which is where we ended up - the service wasn't the friendliest I have ever encountered, but the food was pretty good I have to say).

All this on a night before a track day at Cadwell Park as well when energy and alertness the next day is vital for the safety of oneself and the car !!
